Legal basis for the processing of personal data and access to your terminal equipment in connection with "cookies"
- Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis.
- If we store information in your terminal equipment or access such information that is already stored in your terminal equipment, Section 25 (1) TTDSG serves as the legal basis.
- When processing personal data that is necessary for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship of Connou (user relationship and subscription), Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
- If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of Connou or a third party such as its users, and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override the first-mentioned interest, Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.
- Insofar as the storage of information in your terminal equipment or access to information already stored in your terminal equipment is absolutely necessary, Section 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG serves as the legal basis.
- For the further data processing of cookies, device identifiers or other personal data on your terminal device, Art. 6 (1) DSGVO applies in its relevant littera depending on the data processing constellation mentioned.
If the legal basis is your consent, you are entitled to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. If the legal basis is the legitimate interest, you are also generally entitled to object to the processing of personal data concerning you at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. In this respect, Art. 21 DSGVO applies.

Tracking technologies when using the Connou app
In addition to the processing of personal data mentioned in the data protection provisions , tracking technologies, such as app identifiers, are used when you visit the Connou app, which can also lead to the processing of personal data. For tracking within apps, so-called device IDs (also called app identifiers) are used, which are unique for the respective end device. These IDs are the so-called ID for Advertisers (IDFA) for iOS and the Google Advertising ID for Android. If you have not objected to the use of this ID for targeting and/or advertising purposes within the framework of the settings on your end device or have not generally logged out when IDs are used, your ID will be transmitted to us and may be used by us or our partners for the collection of personal data.
If you install our app on your device via third-party app store providers such as Apple or Google Play, the respective app store provider is the independent responsible party for tracking within app stores, or before you have installed and used our app. Only in the context of the use of the Connou app is Connou responsible for tracking within the app, unless otherwise stated in this tracking notice.
